Overview
Cleverstack is an enterprise-grade omnichannel communications platform that consolidates cloud calling, SMS, WhatsApp, chatbot automation, and bulk messaging into a single operator dashboard. Businesses use it to run outbound campaigns, handle inbound support, and automate customer conversations at scale.
The architecture is event-driven, using NATS as a high-throughput message broker for routing calls and messages between microservices. Celery Beat and APScheduler manage scheduled sends and campaign jobs. The bulk messaging engine handles 100k+ contacts per campaign with rate limiting and delivery tracking. The frontend is built on Next.js with a Django + FastAPI hybrid backend deployed on GCP.
